Cities & Districts — Taiwan for the Foreign Community 城市与地区 — 外国人在台湾生活指南
Taiwan treated as one big city — ten metro areas, sixty-plus districts, five separate MRT/metro systems (Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taoyuan, New Taipei, Taichung) totalling roughly 271 stations. Every district gets its own transport notes now, with restaurants, bars, hotels, spas, visa services, events, attractions and jobs following as the data is verified.

There is no single national metro — five separate urban networks serve Taiwan's major metropolitan areas. EasyCard (悠遊卡) or iPASS work across all systems plus buses and trains; official apps and Google/Apple Maps carry reliable real-time data. Announcements run in English and Chinese throughout.
